Hamazasp Danielyan defended his PhD candidacy on the influence of external factors on the democratization of Armenia. He has initiated and lead research in Armenia and Artsakh on various topics, including the attitude of Armenians toward democracy, the political elite and electoral system of Arstakh. Danielyan taught at the Department of Political Science of Yerevan State University.
